Beachfront hotel in a quiet area just off car rental and parking 100 $ or more a day, and the Sonesta Fort Lauderdale. Nicely updated and contemporary unit with free WiFi, the nicest note and a gorgeous view. The stuff - extremely friendly and always pleasant.

Loved Fort Lauderdale, the hotel was ideal and incredible on the beach. The location was marvellous and convenient, close to Birch State Park. And it was also right by shops and the restaurant. Pool bar was there.
The shower pressure was low and caused inconvenience.

Great location with beautiful view over the beach, nice pool area and nearby restaurants and convenience shops. Rooms are fine to share with kids although the beds are queensize only.

I wanted to stay in a nice area, close to the Sawgrass Mills mall and this hotel was an excellent choice.
There was a fee for parking that was among of the highest fees I´ve ever seen in an hotel (usd 25).

The hotel was delightful especially the picture windows with the great views. The staff were helpful and unobtrusive. The Asian restaurant was especially good. Location was ideal as it seemed to be in a small community of small shops and cafes with Fallaria and the water taxi a short walk away. Access to main highways and gas stations also good.
The cabanas and beds around the pool seemed quite grubby and tired looking. The lack of cushion on the sun beds seemed to downgrade the overall sleek look of the place. I think that urgently needs addressing to biting the whole place up to scratch.

Nice location and rooms. Quite an comfortable (I was on the 9th floor)
You have to valet park your car, which I always find less convenient and more expensive.

The views from our room were amazing, and we thoroughly
Enjoyed the area by the pool. The room was comfy, and the staff were very accommodating. We felt the resort fee was a bit high given the limited amenities. A pleasant experience that would tempt us to return.

View from room. Complimentary coffee in the morning. Very convenient for the water taxi and trolley. this I had to work out for myself.
I found it extremely difficult to use the wifi in the hotel. I had to go down to the nearest pub where I had no problem in accessing wifi and had a couple of drinks there as well. Most of the local establishments also had the same facility. Nobody at the desk or lobby while very friendly, had only vague information about local transport. I had to work it out myself from maps and leaflets and these were not that helpful. As a tourist I would expect the employees to know most things about their locality.

It was new, on the beach, near to Port Everglades which is where we were cruising from and great value for money the rooms were immaculately clean.
Hotel restaurants could have been different or offered more choice but thats personal preference there is lots nearby.
